PROJECT SUMMARY
- Propping;
- Demolition of 5 storey building and 2 level basement parking area;
- Asbestos abatement including ex-situ management, placement, cap and contain;
- Excavation and ex-situ bioremediation and enhances treatment of hydrocarbon contaminated soils;
- Supply, placement and compaction of VENM imported fill for re-instatement of excavations;
Key Project Objectives
- Undertake the demolition works in general accordance with the approved council DA including design and construction and obtain approval from RMS for ground support structures in vacant block and in MLP building basement area boundary retaining wall structures;
- Remediate the site to the extent practical to manage ongoing risks to the environment and site personal which will ultimately allow the removal of the declaration ‘Significant Enough to Warrant Regulation’
